In May of 2018, my friend Oliver Wainwright and I took a leap of faith and started our own manufacturing business. Between the two of us, we knew we had the industry knowledge, expertise, and a strong network of suppliers to be successful.
Call it a passion project.
A composites company centered around sustainability and doing what we love.
We FORMED C12 as a contract manufacturing COMPANY with in-house design & engineering, specializing in tailored customer solutions for composites.
Our primary capabilities were infusions (RTM), prepreg, & compression molding.
We assisted our clients in finding the right approach and composite construction that best suited their needs – whether it be strength, flexibility, heat, abrasion, and ultraviolet resistance, or another specific requirement.
ROTOMOLDING
Once we developed a new carbon fiber-infused thermoplastic resin, we later established a rotomolding division of the company to expand our capabilities and potential client opportunities further.
We acquired three new ovens and immediately got to work on a flurry of projects. With various construction methods and techniques at our disposal, our small company of two quickly grew into a full-fledged team of 39 employees.
