My design career began at Confluence Outdoor as the lead product designer for Perception Kayaks.
Founded in 1974, Perception was a pioneer in whitewater kayaking technology. I moved to Greenville, SC, specifically for its access to world-class whitewater; Needless to say, I was pretty excited for the opportunity to design for such a storied brand. I was responsible for designing, engineering, and leading our team through every aspect of the development process, from concept to launch.
